The sixth annual conference of Sports History Ireland will take place at the Mater Dei Institute of Education on 25 September 2010. This year's call for paper attracted an extraordinary response and we are offering a strong and varied programme, including sessions on a wide range of sporting subjects – rugby, cricket, association football, the GAA, the sporting press, sporting spaces, ideology and sport, and sporting networks.
